I have used a microwave oven ever since they first came out. The first one we had we were told in the instructions to leave the kitchen while it was cooking... I had no ill effects on me... just look!

I use my microwave to melt candle wax and heat up heat packs.. but for food.. pleeaazzz kinda similar to using a bulldozer to scratch your back.
