The 5-11 Campaign is a grassroots organization of constituents to stop Real ID's from being implemented in their State, more specifically the Great State of Texas.

Sheila Dean, President of The 5-11 Campaign is an activist and blogger whose current focus is based in Texas legislative actions, advocating States opposition to the governed assault on American identity. This includes but is not limited to: the Real ID Act of 2005, the Transportation Worker Identity Credential, Enhanced Drivers Licenses and E-Verify.

Sheila has been involved most recently with media activism for World Can't Wait, The Los Angeles National Impeachment Center, Dennis Kucinich, Author Michael Weinstein, David Swanson, Ron Paul, and Focus The Nation, a national green teach-in event for Santa Monica College and UCLA.

The sole defining purpose of the 5-11 Campaign is to stop Real ID's from being implemented; more specifically to the State residents of Texas.

5-11 or May 11th is an associative moniker representing the advent of Real-ID's or the implementation of the Real ID Act of 2005 beginning May 11th, 2008.

The intent was to instantly associate the average citizen with the act of having a Real ID card; sounding akin to another defining disaster that poised the US taxpayer as a fiscal and strategic resource for Globalist agendas - September 11th or 9-11.

The Real ID Act was passed May 11th, 2005 in HR 1268-a bundle of legislation to award emergency Tsunami relief to Idonesia and supplemental war spending for body armor for troops in Iraq. HR 1268 was rushed through Congress and the Senate with utmost urgency. The unfunded Congressional mandate was then extended to the States to finance a highly insecure, federal database and nationalized ID that can be used in the place of a passport when traversing Canada and Mexico. States stand to pay out possibly $3.9 billion for hacker prone DMV databases linked to a federal electronic checkpoint network. Real ID's, proven to be easily and cheaply reproduced in a garage, will not provide the purported solution to immigrant documentation or national security. It just adds costs and irrelevant policing of the US identity.

What it means to be 5-11ened, is for a situation (usually a negative situation) to evolve as a direct result of the Real ID Act.
