INDUSTRY EXPERT REVEALS LOCAL UTILITIES AS THE CAUSE OF THE
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FIRES
DECEMBER 27, 2007, HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. Ed Clark, a former
Utility Electrical Engineer for Southern California Edison Company, in the interest of
protecting public safety, has discovered and documented uncontroversial evidence
regarding the cause of multiple fires throughout San Diego County from 2003-2007;
namely the 2003 Paradise fire, the 2003 Cedar Fire and the 2007 Witch Fire.
Mr. Clark, a 24-year veteran in the Electrical Utility business, has been retained as an expert witness on a variety of litigation matters since 1995 involving electric related accidents including fires, electrocutions, electrical injury related accidents, equipment failures. Some of these matters involve Sempra, Southern California Edison, PG&E, Ventura County, Unocal, Shell, etc.
In the interest of protecting public safety, Mr. Clark will demonstrate in a press
conference to be held at 10:00 AM (PST) at 5582 McFadden Ave. Huntington Beach, CA 92649. The evidence will be shown as undisputable, that the condition that has been starting fires is being caused by improper installation of electrical facilities by the local utilities, has gone undetected for years “AND STILL EXISTS” within San Diego County and perhaps throughout Southern California.
Mr. Clark comments, “despite the number of investigators, investigations, fires,
catastrophic destruction to property, injuries and death, the condition that caused the fires still exists, has not been corrected and that with the same conditions (ie. High winds, low humidy, and high temperatures) another fire will start if not corrected.”
