Susan Purtee was a police officer and detective for the Columbus Police Department in Columbus, Ohio.  She was a Juvenile physical/sexual Abuse Detective from 1998 until 2002 when she was 'kicked out' for her refusal to bow down to Child Protective Services.

She served 16 years as an officer for the Department from 1991 until she retired in 2007.  From first-hand experience, Detective Purtee believes Child Protective Services is circumventing police authority and is taking over what should be a detective's decision on whether a parent is criminally guilty or not.  However, that is not happening today and CPS is "out of control" according to Det. Purtee.
