Shamans have long know that to come into one’s power one must undergo a process of death and rebirth. Only when the old, lower self has died can we truly connect to higher consciousness. Also, in many ancient mystery schools rituals of death and resurrection played a role. The rituals and ordeals required inevitable brought about a death of the false ego in the initiate, something we as individuals and collectively could truly benefit from.

While in ancient times and tribal cultures people understood about the cycle of life and death, modern man through social and religious condition has developed an unhealthy phobia of death. Death is seen as the enemy and something to be avoided at all costs. The fear of death keeps humanity in bondage to cruel rulers, false religions and pharmaceutical dictatorship, as well as in spiritual ignorance.

Shaman Avalon Sakti has received guidance that now is the time for humanity to face what we hold as our worst foe: death! She is going to share some of her personal experiences with death, near death and the beyond in order to dispel your fears. Sakti feels that in these dark days of mankind and in light of the 2012 / Mayan calendar scenarios it is vital to embrace death and make it our friend. Only when we have done so, dealt with the fear of death we can truly live: without fear, without dogma and without terror. We can change this reality of fear and terror into one of love and beauty if only we can face the worst fear of all, the mother of all fears: the fear of death!

The paradox is that when we embrace death, we do not need to die, but when we run from it, death is most likely to come after us. Death is but an illusion, a journey to realms of beauty and freedom. Avalon is a trained and experienced shaman.

She is also experienced in the use of magick for healing and transformation. She is a trained Yoga Master (A.T.T.C. Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Society) and has taught Yoga for groups and individuals in Hong Kong, Germany and the UK.

In the past 25 years she has learned various healing methods, as well as Yoga and shamanism in different countries, including Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Canada. She had appearances on Hong Kong TV and radio for her chakra therapy, crystal therapy and energy healing skills.

She teaches various courses on women's empowerment, shamanism and magick.

Avalon has made it her mission to promote shamanism, magick, Goddess spirituality and Yoga in its truest sense in order to help others to empower themselves so they will be able to create a better life for themselves and their loved ones.
