About David:
I learned of circumcision at a young age. My mother is from Nassau Bahamas. She married a Navy man to get off the island. While visiting my cousins when I was 7 I saw they were different that me. When I went back to Virginia I would try to stuff my penis inside like my cousins could do, but of course that didn't work. I just figured there are two different types of "ding a lings" I guess I was about 12 when I overheard my mother talking about circumcision. When I asked what that was she said " when you were born the doctors thought your ding a ling was gonna be too big so they cut off a piece.' I ran to the bathroom and looked at myself and it was then that I realized what the scars were. I was shocked and in disbelief. But I had thought they took a piece of my penis from the middle and shortened me. It was in sex Ed class that I first learned the truth about what circumcision. It just didn't make any sense to me. If it was suppose to be so good for boys, why weren't my cousins cut. I was always speaking out against this insanity. One big reason for circumcision back then was that 1 out of 100,000 boys might get penile cancer. I always said I'd take my chances on penile cancer. Of course today the ACS American Cancer Society refutes that claim.
In 92 I started demonstrating in DC. just me standing in front of the White House and the Supreme Court. I did this for two years and then learned I could get a permit to be on the steps of the US Capitol. This will be my 19th year. It's the perfect place to educate our future parents. Thousands of jr and sr high kids come to the Capitol on their field trips. It gives us a great opportunity to educate them.  Most of these young kids are upset that something was taken from them. And they should be.

I heard a show on AFR where Sonia of The Truther Girls was interviewing someone about the same topic. Is this the same person she interviewed? Here in Europe, I thought only devout muslims and Jews were "clipped". Then I discovered that American men are also clipped, not for religious reasons, but in the name of hygiene. My personal opinion on the subject has always been that it's genital mutilation. If a guy truly has a problem with his foreskin he can always have it removed later in life if he so choses. But doing it to a man when he is a baby and cannot consent to what is being done to his genitals, no.

Many men who were born on military bases are circumcised. I was required in the 1950's and 60's... I think it was a crime against these young babies.
