Geo. McCalip is a fifth generation Texan on both sides of his family who has lived in California since 1969.

In college Geo. served one term on the Student Senate and five semesters as staff artist (and editorial cartoonist) on the school paper. From this he learned that a committed individual or small group can bring about more change using the system from the outside than they can ever accomplish working as insiders.

Among his accomplishments Geo. lists:
• Managing the initial feasibility study of the Super Shuttle.
• Forming the ad-hoc committee that staged a successful campaign to get Cal State Dominguez Hill selected as the site for the 1984 Olympic Velodrome.
• Filing the court case that led to the end of the Municipal Courts in California.

• Founding of California Legal Rights Fund.

Recognized as one of the leading experts on California traffic law, Geo. (along with a group of some of the brightest legal minds in the state) has put together a three to five year plan to end California’s tickets for revenue scam. To facilitate this, Geo. is in the process of setting up an educational non-profit organization, California Legal Rights Fund (http://calrights.org). The organization’s mission will be to educate the people of California as to their legal rights.
